Our PM team organised a small casual meet with the parents to ensure that the year has closed smoothly and in alignment with all our planned activities. Throughout the year, we conducted an orientation session for parents, held informative workshops, and regularly met them during PTMs to update them on their child’s progress. Our Year 3 children had an Open House where they proudly demonstrated various activities to their parents. We also took the children on several field trips, including visits to the supermarket, cricket court, railway station, farm, and a pottery workshop.
We celebrated festivals such as Dussehra, Diwali, and Children’s Day with meaningful learning experiences—making mango-leaf thorans, marigold door garlands, creating rangolis, and more. Every month, children participated in food preparation activities like making bhel puri, ladoo, kheer, and sweet corn. We also discussed the great success of our Sports Day, where parents actively volunteered to make colourful paper-fan props. We expressed our gratitude to them with Thank You cards.
We also highlighted our wonderful Grandparents’ Day event, which was one of the most heartwarming celebrations of the year. Children performed beautiful dances for their grandparents, and we organised a variety of fun games especially for them. The grandparents participated wholeheartedly and truly enjoyed every moment of the event.
We shared details about the upcoming Christmas celebrations as well. Parents are enthusiastic about participating, and we already have a group of active volunteers eager to support the event.
Towards the end of the meet, we organised fun games for parents. All the parents participated enthusiastically, and it was a joyful and engaging way to close the session.
