Our Primary Montessori children joyfully celebrated Food Preparation, Bathukamma, Dandiya on 18th September 2025. They participated enthusiastically in all the activities and came dressed in vibrant traditional attire, adding colour and charm to the celebration. We began by explaining the significance of Navaratri and Bathukamma to help them understand the cultural traditions. For the food preparation activity, the children made delicious Moong Dal Laddus, which everyone enjoyed. The children then danced around the beautifully decorated Bathukamma with great excitement, and as a part of the tradition, we concluded the celebrations by gently leaving the Bathukamma in water. It was a colourful and joyful day, filled with laughter, learning, and festive spirit.
