The students of Grade 9 & 10 had been on an excursion to Yercaud, Salem for 3 nights and 4 days. The camp was situated at 5100 feet above sea level. The children were thrilled to discover the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. They embarked on an exciting adventure, trekking 2 km, where they set up camps, prepared their own meals, and spent the night under the galaxy of stars. They enjoyed their meal while stargazing, taking in the breathtaking view of Selam. This hands-on activity taught them invaluable lessons about sustainable living and thriving in the wilderness. The beautiful weather on the mountain added to the joy, making the experience even more memorable. They were fully engaged in various activities, which helped build strong bonds and a deeper understanding among themselves.
