Moiza Rafath
Founder Director
Moiza is a synergy of thought and action. With her zest to create, ability to think deeply, and collaborate with the right people, she has managed to foster educational spaces that truly function to bring meaning to a child’s life, allow for self expression and build an inclusive community.
After her graduation in Economics and a PG Diploma in Public Relations, she earned a rich experience in Hospitality, Banking and Healthcare industries before she heard her calling for Education. She stepped into the field of Education with her Montessori 3-6 Diploma from AMI, the Netherlands followed by a BEd and an MEd.
She set up Pebble Creek Montessori House of Children in 2005 which organically branched out to Pebble Creek High Montessori School in 2008 and Pebble Creek Life School in 2012. In 2020, she laid the foundation of Indah Erdkinder in Lingapur where adolescents will learn about life, and engage in a wide range of academic disciplines by living and working in a farm.
She believes in the shortest quote of Dr. Maria Montessori “Believe in the child”, and that if observed carefully, every single child will show their true potential. With her passion for Montessori education and a dream to have a school with no boundaries, she walks into the school with joy each day. She finds herself often engrossed in thinking, dreaming and imagining; these have helped her pave the path for the schools so far. She loves reading Montessori philosophy and short articles on education, fiction, discussions, creating educational materials, gardening, sewing, painting and knitting.

Shurobi Hindocha is a Mass Communications and English Literature graduate. With several years of experience in Language Skills Assessment, Content Writing, Communications Training and Operations and Management with MNCs and NGOs/NPOs. She found her calling in Education when she discovered Montessori Philosophy. She holds a Primary Diploma – 3 to 6 years, Elementary Diploma – 6 to 12 years, and Certification in Adolescent Education – 12 to 18 years, from AMI, the Netherlands. She holds a B.Ed. degree & a Diploma in Experiential Education and Practice. She has been in the field of education for 19 years, and is particularly interested in Developmental Science. She is the School Head at ‘Indah Erdkinder – a Montessori Centre for Study and Work for Adolescents’, and the Head of Training, R&D at Pebble Creek Life School.
As a parent and an Educator, she believes that finding purpose and joy in small moments and life experiences have the greatest impact in building strength, academic potential, joy and resilience in children.
She enjoys writing, dance, music, weaving, crochet and pottery and poetry.
Administration
Kavita’s journey in education began as a Waldorf parent, drawn to the nurturing and developmentally conscious environment it offered her child. Over time, inspired by the holistic, child-centric philosophies of various alternative education approaches, she felt a strong calling to pursue a more purpose-driven path. This led to a significant transition from the corporate world to the field of education.
She holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature, a bachelor’s in education, and diplomas in Experiential Education and Fabric Designing. With over 20 years of experience across diverse academic and administrative roles, Kavita has gained a well-rounded perspective on both classroom dynamics and school leadership. She has served in various leadership capacities at Pebble Creek since joining in 2019 and has been actively involved in creating meaningful learning experiences for both students and staff. In her current role as Administrative Head, Kavita brings a unique blend of pedagogical insight and operational expertise. She ensures that systems and decisions remain deeply aligned with the school’s core values—always keeping the child at the centre.
A passionate advocate for sustainable living, creativity, and spiritual growth, Kavita’s personal values deeply resonate with Pebble Creek’s mindful and inclusive approach to education.
Madhavi is a commerce graduate from Mumbai Varsity and qualified in IATA Professional. She has extensive experience in Administration; after a fruitful career spanning 10 years with Sahara Airlines in Reservation/Ticketing/ Passenger Handling and Administration, she took a sabbatical to attend to two growing sons both of them today pursuing technical education in the US and India. She has also handled Travel Desk and Administration in AMI TECH India Private Ltd for 2 years. She has been happy to work in the ambient surroundings as an Administrator with Pebble Creek since 2017.
Her pleasant demeanor and approachability while handling day to day interactions, ensuring smooth relationship between parents, teachers and all support staff, in discharging administrative duties in the school makes Pebble Creek office a welcome place every day!
Santosh supports in managing all financial matters of the school as well as liaison with various government departments. But these are only two of the many hats that he dons at Pebble Creek. He is excited about working with technology and troubleshooting things; out of this passion, he provides IT related support to the team. He is also closely associated with the logistics and procurement team and oversees some of the operations at Pebble Creek. He loves adventure and has a special interest in rock-climbing and rappelling.
Deepika is a commerce graduate from Badruka college of commerce and a semi Qualified Chartered Accountant She has completed her Article ship training as an assistant for 3 years. She comes with a work experience in statutory audits, tax audits, bank audits and preparing books of accounts and financial statements.
In her leisure time, she engages herself playing outdoor activities with her 3 year old son.

Nisha Sharma has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. She also holds a Diploma in Experiential Education and Practice. She is a Certified Global Trainer for ‘Play for Peace’ and a member of ‘The International Play Association’.
Now a PhD researcher in Educational Sciences, she’s been a teacher, teacher educator, school principal, and play facilitator. Her doctoral research at the University of Oulu (Finland) focuses on cultivating teacher playfulness to create enriching and safe learning environments. As a Teacher Educator and Mentor at Pebble Creek, she is determined to create individualised and continuous support for teachers to optimise their potential and delight in the joy of their profession. Drawing on her understanding of Experiential Education and Child Development, she consistently strives to enrich educational experiences for children and educators alike. She brings a wealth of experience, honed over the years, in creating environments where learning is playful, stimulating, and meaningful.
She is passionate about creating sustainable processes and structures for organisational development and empowering teachers. She loves traveling, learning about dinosaurs with her six-year-old son, cycling, dancing and observing people at play.

Academic Level Heads & Coordinators
Mercy Jyothsna has been working in the field of education for over eleven years. With a Post-Graduation in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Education in Biology, she brings a strong academic foundation and a scientific approach to her work. Mercy is also a certified AMI 12–18 Orientation Programme, equipping her with the understanding of adolescent development and Montessori principles.
At Pebble Creek Life School, Mercy has taken on several leadership roles over the years and currently serves as Vice Principal . Balancing her administrative responsibilities with her role as a teacher, she remains deeply connected to the classroom.
Beyond academics, Mercy is passionate about dance, which she sees as both a joyful form of expression and an excellent workout. She often mentors students in dance presentations, fostering individual creativity, team synergy, and a love for performance—all while ensuring it remains a fun and enriching experience.
Shalini Chaudhary holds a Master’s degree in Economics with a specialization in Development Economics, International Trade, and Public Finance. With over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, she brings a rich blend of expertise to her role as Academic Head at Pebble Creek.
Her teaching journey spans CBSE, IB, and undergraduate curricula. She has led MUN clubs, international exchange programs, and held key roles such as NAAC Coordinator and Head of International Relations. A published researcher, Shalini has worked on topics like micro-financing and women’s socio-economic conditions and is proficient in tools like SPSS.
At Pebble Creek, she drives academic planning, curriculum design, and faculty mentoring, fostering innovative and interdisciplinary learning. Her educational philosophy focuses on nurturing independent, socially aware, and ethically grounded learners.
Sheethal holds a Masters degree in Biotechnology from Bangalore University. Her journey into Montessori education began when she developed a deep interest in the philosophy, which she discovered through a variety of subjects during her early years of teaching career. This fascination led her to pursue the AMI Diploma Course, further solidifying her commitment to Montessori principles. She works as an Academic Coordinator and Level Head Primary Montessori. She is also currently pursuing a B.Ed. to expand her knowledge and teaching capabilities.
Her belief is that balancing work and play is important for a child’s development. She feels fortunate to work with children aged 2 to 7 and enjoys seeing them grow and learn. In her leisure time, she loves writing in her diary, drawing, dancing, and traveling.
Sailaja holds postgraduate degrees in Psychology and Commerce, along with a degree in Education and RCI-recognized Special Education. She is also a trained Montessori Elementary guide and currently serves as an Educator and Academic Coordinator at Pebble Creek. She leads her own Elementary environment and supports planning and mentoring; to ensure a rich and balanced learning experience for both children and educators.
Her background in inclusive education, child observation, and educator support reflects a calm, consistent, and thoughtful approach. She believes every child has a creative mind, and with the right guidance, can exceed expectations and discover their strengths early.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys cooking, music, and exploring nature and the wild.
Department of Counselling and Special Education
Anne Anish has been a development professional for more than a decade. She has a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Osmania University and MSc Psychology from the University of Madras. She has worked with International Organisations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Alliance India (AP), Child Fund India and Government Agencies like CAPART and APSACS. She has extensive experience on a wide spectrum of issues like Child development (especially in rural areas and children living in difficult situations), Women empowerment, HIV/AIDS, Health and sanitation, micro-finance and livelihoods. She represented Alliance India in the 8th International HIV/AIDS Congress (UNAIDS). She has been associated with the Hyderabad Academy of Psychology (HAP) as a counsellor providing counselling services to corporates and individuals. She is now realizing her passion for working with children by addressing their psychosocial needs and providing a safe environment to nurture and realize their best potentials. She is deeply committed to the cause of “Helping people help themselves.”
Ms. Mehjabeen Sultana is a committed and compassionate Special Educator who brings a strong foundation in inclusive education and child development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor’s in Special Education from the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID).
Ms. Sultana has 3 years of experience before joining Pebble Creek Life School in the Academic Year 2025-26. She continues her mission to create accessible and respectful learning environments through individualized education plans, structured teaching, and differentiated instruction.
Ms. Sultana’s strengths lie in her ability to design need-based intervention strategies, use visual and multi-sensory tools, and build strong rapport with children.
Guided by the principle that every child can learn just not on the same day or in the same way; she tailors her approach to meet each learner’s needs.
Her interests include developing social stories, integrating play-based learning, and supporting communication and language development in children with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Department of Sports
Naresh is a Physical Educator at Pebble Creek. He was an electronic engineer by chance and now glad to be a physical educator by choice. He completed his schooling in Andhra Pradesh and graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Since his school days he was enthusiastic about sports where he started his journey as a footballer. Football – his passion made him complete his bachelor’s in Physical Education from Kakatiya University after which he went on to receive All India Football Federation D license certificate from Mumbai. Naresh is a national football player. He loves to be on the ground and enjoys working with kids, coach them and hone their sports skills. He is happy to train, learn and spend time with kids at pebble creek.
Narsing is a national-level basketball player and was recognized as a star performer in the prestigious Montfort Tournaments. His deep passion for sports and fitness is evident in both his dedication and his active involvement. He personally trains students in basketball, imparting essential skills while also nurturing discipline and teamwork. Through his mentorship, he inspires students to appreciate the value of sports and embrace the true spirit of sportsmanship.
Vishaal Jude Phillips is a dedicated and passionate cricket professional with a strong background both as a player and a coach. A former state-level cricketer, he represented the Hyderabad Cricket Association across multiple age groups — Under-14, Under-16, and Under-19 — and proudly captained the U-14 and U-16 state teams.
Vishaal completed his schooling at Cal Public School and went on to earn his ITI Graduation from Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad.
In 2018, Vishaal began his coaching career and has since worked with several reputed cricket academies across Hyderabad. Today, he runs his own cricket coaching camp, where he continues to nurture young talent. He is also a Certified Foundational Cricket Coach by the ICC (International Cricket Council).
Currently, Vishaal brings his wealth of experience to Pebble Creek Life School, where he trains students not only in cricketing skills but also in the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline. He believes in pushing each student to reach their full potential while cultivating a deep respect and passion for the game.
Co-curriculars
Madhu is a musician, songwriter, and composer with over 8 years of experience. Certified by ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), he is skilled in playing the piano, keyboard, and guitar. He also holds a master’s degree in digital systems & computer Electronics, allowing him to blend technical expertise with musical creativity.
Passionate about composing across genres, Madhu’s love for music continues to inspire his evolving artistic journey.
Anand is a Clay Master Trainer and has received an award from the Govt. of Telangana for participating as Master Trainer in Skill Upgradation Training on clay Ganapathi and diya making conducted by T.S. MBC Development Corporation. He has completed his Intermediate education and has been associated with Pebble Creek for the past eight years teaching pottery and clay modeling to students across grades.
Veeru is passionate about teaching carpentry to children by capturing their interest. He loves surfing the internet to be able to do innovative things in his classes. One thing which he wants to share with people about his carpentry classes is that children working with various tools is an important experience which we need to provide to our children. Safety measures are non-negotiable but getting minor cuts is also a part of the process and we need to let children experience it. He says that he didn’t complete his schooling because it didn’t make any difference to his life and therefore he teaches and believes in working on skills which can be carried by the children for their whole life and which enable them to be self-sufficient.
With over 32 years of experience in the field of Indian classical and folk dance, Puli UmaDevi is a dedicated and accomplished dance educator specializing in Kuchipudi and Indian Folk Dances. Holding a Diploma in Kuchipudi and Indian Folk Dances, she has spent decades nurturing students with passion, discipline, and deep cultural insight.
For the past 8 years, Puli UmaDevi has been an integral part of Pebble Creek Life School, where she has inspired young minds through the expressive art of dance—helping students not only master technique but also develop confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for India’s rich heritage.
Blending traditional training with a modern, student-centered approach, Puli UmaDevi is committed to making classical dance accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for learners of all ages.
