Our Grade 1 students had the enriching opportunity to visit a fresh organic farm -Terra Organics on 14th October . The field trip offered a hands-on, educational experience that highlighted the importance of sustainable agriculture and healthy food systems.
The visit began with a guided tour of the farm , where the children got to see herb gardens and varieties of fruits like Red Custard apple, Passion fruit; Banana shaped mangoes, flowers like Morning glory, Passion flower, etc The guide explained how the farm avoids synthetic pesticides and fertilizer and focuses on natural alternatives.
