On January 10th, 2025, Sankranti celebrations began with teachers and children sharing the significance of Sankranti and its different names across India. Children enthusiastically took part in the traditional rangoli making and showcased their creativity using colored powders and flowers. The children wore colorful traditional attire adding a vibrant and festive touch to the school premise.
Keeping up with tradition, some of our teachers prepared Sweet Pongal on a wood-burning stove and served it to the children. The day was filled with engaging activities, including art, craft, dance. Overall, the Sankranti festival celebrations at school were a memorable experience, fostering unity, joy, and cultural appreciation.
