Pottery Anand Sir’s workshop

On 13th October 2025 , our Year 2 & 3 children paid a visit to our Pottery Anand Sir’s workshop as part of their Field Trip.

The visit offered a wonderful hands-on learning experience where children observed how a simple lump of clay is shaped into beautiful pots and Diya’s using a potter’s wheel.

Our pottery Sir explained the process of kneading the clay, shaping it on the wheel, drying, and baking it to make it strong. The children were thrilled to touch and feel the clay, and some even tried shaping it with their own hands. This experience helped them understand the effort and skill that go into creating earthenware.

Through this trip, children not only learned about the traditional craft of pottery but also developed a deeper appreciation for the beauty of handmade things.
Each child was thrilled to receive Diya’s as a gift for Diwali.
