The Lower Elementary Parent Workshop was conducted on 19th July, 2025.
The Elementary guides and facilitators gave an insight of how lower elementary children
are introduced to concepts of Mathematics, Science, Social and Languages. They
demonstrated how children used hands-on material, on basis of the presentations and given guidance.
Few works of children were shared. The benefits of self-directed approach to the child were also discussed. The second plane child characteristics and their needs were discussed at length and emphasis was laid on how to connect the child’s interest with learning. Parents found the session to be informative and useful in understanding the child. The session also gave light on how to support the child at home.
