Moiza Rafath

Founder Director

Moiza is a synergy of thought and action. With her zest to create, ability to think deeply, and collaborate with the right people, she has managed to foster educational spaces that truly function to bring meaning to a child’s life, allow for self expression and build an inclusive community. After her graduation in Economics and a PG Diploma in Public Relations, she earned a rich experience in Hospitality, Banking and Healthcare industries before she heard her calling for Education. She stepped into the field of Education with her Montessori 3-6 Diploma from AMI, the Netherlands followed by a BEd and an MEd. She set up Pebble Creek Montessori House of Children in 2005 which organically branched out to Pebble Creek High Montessori School in 2008 and Pebble Creek Life School in 2012. In 2020, she laid the foundation of Indah Erdkinder in Lingapur where adolescents will learn about life, and engage in a wide range of academic disciplines by living and working in a farm.

She believes in the shortest quote of Dr. Maria Montessori “Believe in the child”, and that if observed carefully, every single child will show their true potential. With her passion for Montessori education and a dream to have a school with no boundaries, she walks into the school with joy each day. She finds herself often engrossed in thinking, dreaming and imagining; these have helped her pave the path for the schools so far. She loves reading Montessori philosophy and short articles on education, fiction, discussions, creating educational materials, gardening, sewing, painting and knitting.

Srilakshmi Rao

Principal

Srilakshmi brings with her 22+ years of experience in teaching and administrative roles at various levels. She holds a master’s degree in commerce, a bachelor’s degree in education and Diploma in Montessori and early childhood education from AMI.

Over the years, she had the opportunity to work with students across all age groups in well-established institutions. She has vast experience of serving in almost all departments of the school.

In her experience as a teacher, mentor, administrator and leader, she believes that children learn, grow and thrive at their own pace, when a right environment is provided. The joint efforts of parents and teachers play a crucial role in a child’s overall development, not just academically, but emotionally, socially, and ethically.

Along with her deep commitment to education and school leadership, she actively pursues Carnatic classical music. For her, music is not just a hobby but a form of therapy which helps in building confidence and holistic personality.

She is a travel enthusiast, who loves to explore new cultures, meet new people, create everlasting memories.
She finds joy and fulfilment in her happy family life and draws strength & inspiration that reflect in her work as an Educator.

Ambli Cynthea George

Administrator

Cynthea is a graduate in Public Administration/ Sociology and comes with 20 years of overall experience. She has been exposed to different kinds of work environments, ranging from the Hospitality Industry to the BPO Industry.

As a mother of two children, Cynthea struck a chord with the Montessori method of teaching since it greatly reflected how she chose to raise her boys. This led to a smooth transition from the corporate world to the schooling sector when she was appointed as the Administrator at Pebble Creek . Administration and People Management are what she believes is her strength.

When not at work, she loves spending most of her time with family and friends. Her hobbies include listening to Music, Reading, Cooking, Traveling, and Knitting.

Pramodini

Accounts Incharge

Pramodini joined Pebble Creek in 2015 as an Accounts In charge. She also supports the administrative work as well, for the efficient functioning of the system.

Prior to working in Pebble Creek , she started her career as a Senior Counselor in a Computer Institute and went on to handle Accounts and Recruitments as well. She brings all of her skills to her work each day with great confidence and clarity at Pebble Creek
She likes the Montessori concept which provides a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for the child, which promotes social development through respectful, clear communication and natural consequences; and that is what inspired her to join her children in this school.

When not at work, she engrosses herself in beautifying her garden at home. Her other interests include traveling and Cooking.

Manju Bhushan

Library and Overall Aesthetics

Manju worked in the State Secretariat in the capacity of a Gazetted Officer. After her retirement, she joined Pebble Creek High Montessori School in 2009. She is passionate about aesthetics and ensures order in everything.

At Pebble Creek, Manju is in-charge of the school library, and overall maintenance. She also attends to administrative work whenever required.

She has keen interest in Spirituality, Music and Gardening. You can find her love for nature by looking at the way the garden blossoms everyday! She enjoys her work and feels at home with her association with PebbleCreek.
